The reports from all rocky reefs,
deep holes and boathouses are that fishing is looking up this year.
Whether it's 12-inch perch or 19-pound pike, the anecdotes are enticing,
even if the actual, documented evidence is thin.
The winner of this year's fishing tournament is Joos (pronounced Yose
with a long O and silent e) Berghausen with a 17-inch, three and a
half pound smallmouth bass. Congratulations Joos!
